Introducing the vlogs & other things

Hello again, blog followers and Ethereal Light members. Today, an administrator by the name of ZanNight released the first vlog. It was mostly just a test to see how it would all turn out, and viola! It turned out fantastic. The staff of Ethereal Lights are aiming to release a single vlog every other Monday as a more personal way for the staff to make announcements. Also, to jazz things up, Zan decided to host a "theme song" contest in which members are able to submit songs to be played during the vlogs. The only stipulation to this contest is this: The song must be completely original. To submit a song for the vlog updates, email Ethereal Lights' main account: EtherealLightsRP@gmail.com

Also, on top of vlogs, talk of podcasts seem to be in Ethereal Lights' future as well. These however, are meant to be entirely different than vlogs. Where vlogs are used as updates and announcements, podcasts will be used to interview members, and generally talk random jargon about Ethereal Lights. So look out Ethereal Lights' members, there seems to be a lot in this community's future.

Introduction to Ethereal Lights

On September 24, 2009 members by the name of Nikkia, ZanNight and Midnight Insanity opened Ethereal Lights to the entire internet. Since registration has opened, the memberbase has grown at an average of 25 members per day! This is due to the staff's outstanding advertising efforts. Many of you may be wondering, what is this "Ethereal Lights"? I can answer that for you in just a few short sentences. Ethereal Lights is a community of different people from different countries, races, genders, age groups. Now, you may be wondering what brings all these different people together, and the answer is this: Roleplay. All these people share a love for writing, and doing so together. With a smaller community, these people become much like a close-knit family, life long friends.

This community offers much more than just a place to post your roleplays, though. There's an off-topic forum to simply interact with your fellow members. There's a creative works forum to post anything you have made or created, through any medium you can imagine. If you haven't yet checked out Ethereal Lights, what are you waiting for?
